CONGRATULATIONS
To everyone who participated in the Canterbury Challenge Day on Sunday
It was a great days tennis with a total of 880 games played with Southern Districts winning 497 games to383 games
Not only did we win but we had a wonderful team of people who played the day showing great sportsmanship and team spirit – especially considering some players had never met their team mates before today
There were some very tired players at the end of the day
Thank you to the committee members who helped on the day in various roles. Many hands do certainly make light work. Thank you also to the other Southern Districts players who stepped in to help.
Looking forward to the return Challenge for October 14th 2012
