of Annual General The
Annual General Meeting of Southern Districts Tennis Association
Inc. will be held At Wests League Club (Campbelltown) on Monday
6 September 2010 at 7:30pm. Election
of Office Bearers and other positions at Annual General Meeting The
following positions will be elected (if necessary by ballot) at
the Annual General Meeting: President, Vice President (2), Treasurer, Secretary, Publicity Officer,
Ladies Competitions Secretary, Night Competitions Secretary, Junior Competition Secretary, Saturday Competition
Secretary Councilors (6),Wests Tennis Club Sub-Committee (3)
(must come from previous elected office bearers) and Auditor. Nominations
for Office Bearer positions (a)
Nominations
for all positions listed above (with the exception of Auditor)
close with the Secretary, placed in my pigeon hole at Wests
Tennis Club at 5:00pm on Sunday 22 August 2010. (b)
Nominations
must be in writing, signed by two members of the Association and
accompanied by the written consent of the candidate. (c)
Nominees
for all positions must be registered members of the Association. (d)
Should
there be insufficient nominations received for any position, the
Annual General Meeting may accept nominations at the meeting to
fill those positions providing the person nominated is present
and consents to election at the meeting or has previously
consented to such election in writing. Paul
Irwin Secretary DOWNLOAD NOMINATION FORM FOR COMMITTEE POSITION Congratulations
to our two teams who both made the finals. Our no 2 team of
Tristan Curry, Nathan Lewis, Brendan Schafer and Wayne Stanton
are the winners of Grade 2.5. Our no 2 team of Robert Bisset,
Adam Hecimovic, Ben Marlin, Jay Marlin and Jared Zeeman are
runners-up in Grade 1.3, losing by 5 games. Also big thanks to
all the players who reserved and assisted the teams in reaching
the finals in our first year of playing Badge. 2010

Association members competed with Australia’s elite Open and
Junior players. The event continues to be one of the states
largest and most prestigious events in Australia.
